Ever wonder which planets are visible in the night sky? The top half of the circle shows the visible portion of the sky, east on the left, west on the right. Icons for the sun, moon and 8 planets depict their east-west position at any moment upon opening the page or pushing the refresh button. If you are facing south as you look at the screen, the sun should appear in about the place in the sky as it does on the screen. If it is night, the sun will be somewhere in the lower half of the chart. The outer circle with the 12 segments and Roman Numerals is stationary. The center world icon suggests looking at the earth from a point in space north of us. Icons are included for the 12 astrological signs. The astronomical zones are also indicated (0h - 22h). (Unfortunately, the moving part of the chart may not be visible on browsers other than Internet Explorer version 8.)
